This 3 Mile DVD is apart of her Walk Your Way Slim Series available from Target.com and is well worth the investment! I literally just finished this DVD and am so extremely glad that I purchased this along with 3 others from the 6-Kit Series. In fact, I think I am going to purchase the remaining 2 kits as this makes the 3rd one that I love!

Walk Off 10 Pounds is like I said a 3 Mile DVD done at an Intermediate to Advanced pace. There isn't any boosted walking (jogging) in this workout, but the pace is faster and you do some powerful movements. One of the things that I have noticed with several of her newer releases in 2009 is that she does a move called Power Kicks. These are done at a vigorous intensity and are bwt low and high impact. You barely leave the ground, but you kick fast and high. You will do grapevines, 4 counts walking up and back several times, some with a kick sequence thrown in with them, side steps with taps and heels, ect. The variety is here so it is a little more than the Basic 4. 3 Mile Slim & Sleek still has the newer "moves" but this still gives you easy choreography without the same ol', same ol'. If you have other Kits from this Series or the Burn Body Fat Series, you will notice that much of the music is the same, however not all songs are repeated within 4 kits that I have, not sure about all 6 at this point. You will find a solid cool down of about 2 minutes perhaps a little more and a nice stretch. The set is black but she has those Stability Balls on the set with her and they are colored coordinated to her wardrobe: Yellow, Black, and Charcoal. You will occasionally be able to see outside and there is snow on the ground; fun for me as I was looking in my own backyard with snow. I thought that was cute.

I word of caution: in the first Mile there are a couple of cueing flubs. I'm used to walking with her I don't notice them too often anymore. 1 mistake is she said to do knee lifts but does kicks instead. She catches herself at the end of the kicks and apologizes for the mistake. I didn't even notice it myself until she pointed it out. The second mishap is she instructors you to do side steps then goes automatically into a double side step. Again no biggie and she giggles about it. You can't help but smile. Those are the things that keep you on your toes and add a little laughter into your day! Why get upset when you could just smile and go with the flow?

Because of the pace more so than the cueing, I would tell beginners to try her 2 Mile DVDs first or to get her Walk Off Even More Weight Kit which offers 2-2 Mile Walks; a Classic and a Faster Paced walk. Those will get you up to the speed and endurance that you will need for her 3+ Mile DVDs. You could go right into her 3 Milers, but it may be too advanced to begin with. This DVD like her recent ones allow you to pick the Chapter you wish. You can choose Mile 1, Mile 2, or Mile 3. You though cannot customize the DVDs and you have to fast forward/rewind to get to the warm up and cool down sections if you did not choose the first or 3rd miles.

What's included in this kit? DVD, Purple Pedometer, and a 14 Day Meal Plan. In the DVD Leslie instructs you to eat the meals in the plan that you like! Customize it to fit your needs! She reminds us that we can still eat the foods that we love and lose weight; it's just watching portions and making better choices most of the time. She goes on to say that she doesn't like a lot of "rules" as we know what does or doesn't feel right. What I loved most about this DVD was its Positive Message and overall tone! She tells you to "Have and Excuse-Free Day"! That you have the choice to improve your life! If you are able to get out of bed she says, then you are already healthy. Movement improves your health, mood, physical and spiritual fitness! She also reminds you to forget and let go of the negativity in your life; let go of the negativity that people share. Forgive than, let go, and move on. They don't know what they are doing so no need to be upset or set back by other's negativity. I think an equally moving and important message is that even just losing 5 pounds makes a difference in how you feel. That you don't need to rush yourself and overwhelm yourself with huge weight loss goals, just take it one step a time; 5 pounds at a time. It doesn't matter how long it takes, just make better choices for your health and you will reap the rewards!

Absolutely a wonderful walking workout! I have truly become a total fan of the Leslie-Only, non-walk leader Workouts. She's able to give you calm direction and coaching as she puts it. It's true! I feel fabulous not only because of the workout, but because of her positive and motivating words!! This is a DVD to own! Great message, great pace, great advice, warm, caring instructor, and positive well being!

I would suggest that you DO NOT purchase this product. Leslie Sansone has some great DVD's out there but when mine arrived the pedometer was broken. I lost my packing slip so I guess I'm just out of luck in returning the product. I'll go buy a decent pedometer at a sporting goods store and chalk it up to lesson learned.

The Fusion collection is a must have. I'm using the 7 DVD set offered by Grace and it's amazing to see my body shaping up. I used to be at the gym 6 days a week and now I changed to 3 days at the gym and 3 days using the DVD's and I'm loving my new body. I totally recommend the set to anyone.

[...]. The LifeCycles at my local gym were what I really wanted but, I thought they only sold commercial products, and I didnt want to pony up thousands of dollars for a bike. Well I found out that I actually had a local dealer that sold bikes based on the commercial equipment that I was used to. They have 3 different styles for Recumbant; the R1 -Scaled down model, R3 -Scaled down but decent model w/analog display, and R9i -Digital Display, top of the line. This is basically the commercial model but built for residential use, Tons of workout programs, Lifetime Warranty on frame, 3 years on movable parts. The seat is comfortable, I spend over an hour on it for most workouts and never have discomfort, there are also 30+ settings for the seat-to-peddle length.

I bought this because I wanted the luxery of exercising whenever I wanted, and not having to drive to the gym to get my cardio in. If your not familiar with this bike, find a local dealer, and check it out. [...].

This is a really nice bike. I always hated recumbent bikes until I tried this one last year. The seat to pedal angle is just right to make it extremely comfortable. It has many resistance levels from super easy to almost impossible to pedal. The bike is self powered so you can put it anywhere.
My only complaints are that it has a feature called "infinite pause" on it. If you do not officially end your workout by pressing clear before you stop pedaling it will hold your data and be extremely slow to re-power up for the next user. Also, you can only change levels via the 2 up and down arrows which makes it difficult to jump 3 or more levls at a time. Other than that I like this bike. It's ideal for a 1 user house. If you are buying it for a club, or a multiple user situation, that infinite pause feature may bother you.

I frequently read that the kettlebell can increase your calorie burn during a workout by 60%. While I was curious to put that to the test, I already knew I enjoyed doing a kettlebell workout from having gotten to play with them once in a gym and, not only feeling the results the next day, but feeling that the workout was FUN. (For me a workout is like broccoli sprouts...I know it's good for me so I partake of it more than I want to, but I still have to make myself do it and rarely consider it fun.)

CALORIE BURN: Does it really increase your calorie burn by 60%? Well, no. But it does truly sizzle some calories. I wear a bodybugg to measure how many calories my body burns per day and can, therefore, also measure how many calories I burn during a particular workout and how many calories I burn per minute during any activity and per day. I say this only so you'll know I have some range of scientific measurement rather than simply perceived exertion. The beauty of a kettlebell workout is that typically you'll burn more calories during a cardio workout, but a strength training workout makes you burn less during the workout--but more the rest of the day...this combined the two. I burned more calories by getting my heart rate up with kettlebell moves during the workout and continued to burn them at a higher rate the rest of the day. It wasn't 60% more calories than I normally burn but I did burn a few hundred more than I normally do in a cardio routine and my metabolism did remain elevated throughout the day...what I burn is going to be different than anyone else because of the variables of muscle density, height, weight, workout, etc... but there is a reason these were adopted from Russia even for hardcore bodybuilders. It works AND it adds interest to what you do, for a good solid workout.

HOW TO USE ONE: This is basically a round weight with a handle making it easy to grip. In any exercise where you would use two weights combined (hard to grip) you can use the kettlebell for better reps. However, their true beauty is in a routine designed specifically for the kettlebell because the motions you are able to do with swinging and moving with this equipment in mind, will work muscles you would otherwise often not hit in any regular strength or circuit routine and zap more fat. For women, there are some beginner kettlebell dvds on Amazon if you are just starting out, but if you are slightly more fit and able to do other aerobic or strength routines, you might go for: The Ultimate Body Sculpt and Conditioning With Kettlebells DVD or Powerbody: Bootcamp.

WEIGHT: Although many kettlebell sites will suggest women begin with a 17 lb weight, most find that too heavy for an entire routine. Personally I think you should look at what weights you are already able to use in a strength routine. If you use 2 5-lb. handweights, then I would use a 10 lb. to start. I use 2 6-or-7-lb. handweights so the 12 lb. was ideal for me, but it is heavy and sometimes I still do less reps than suggested on a kettlebell dvd.

WHY I CHOSE THIS ONE: Troy makes barbells. They are known for quality pieces and kettlebells can be unbalanced or the wrong weight so, regardless of the brand name you choose, I'd suggest going for a kettlebell made by someone who specializes in weights/barbells already. This is a perfect handle...big enough to grip but not so wide it makes gripping or moves awkward. And the texture of the handle keeps it in your sweaty hand...swinging a weight around your room that doesn't have a good grip is not a good thing, for obvious reasons. The whole piece is metal but the base is dipped in a lime green vinyl. This is very important if you have any kind of floor you wish to protect, as kettlebells that are just metal scratch surfaces easily.

STRENGTH TRAINING ONLY: If you wish to use these strictly for strength training rather than a circuit workout that I prefer, there are tons of kettlebell books and dvds to help you if you are new to it. It's also a great workout to do with your man if you are looking for one...since men using a heavier resistance get a great workout doing the same moves you will benefit from with a lighter weight. You can both do the same workout using different weights of kettlebells.

NEGATIVES: I try to brainstorm any negatives for something I love in order to still give a full picture for those with an opposing opinion...it's a kettlebell though...what can I say? I guess if I had to pull something off the top of my head that I would personally like if I could create my ideal kettlebell, it would be adjustable in weight so I could go up or down in weight depending upon the workout or as I progress in building muscle. However, I did look at some adjustable kettlebells and they were either not the weights I wanted or not vinyl coated. Still, that would be my ideal.

Also: Know that this is one kettlebell. That's what I wanted for my routines as do most, but, because some people use them in place of weights and want one in each hand, know that you are not getting a pair.

CONCLUSION: Adds interest and results to my routine, good quality kettlebell.

NEGATIVES: I try to brainstorm any negatives for something I love in order to still give a full picture for those with an opposing opinion…it’s a kettlebell though…what can I say? I guess if I had to pull something off the top of my head that I would personally like if I could create my ideal kettlebell, it would be adjustable in weight so I could go up or down in weight depending upon the workout or as I progress in building muscle. However, I did look at some adjustable kettlebells and they were either not the weights I wanted or not vinyl coated. Still, that would be my ideal.

Also: Know that this is one kettlebell. That’s what I wanted for my routines as do most, but, because some people use them in place of weights and want one in each hand, know that you are not getting a pair.

CONCLUSION: Adds interest and results to my routine, good quality kettlebell.

I have done water exercise for a least 20 years using flotation belts. This is the best type, by far, and I have tried many different ones. The elastic webbing is more comfortable and the shape of this belt keeps it from riding up as easily as others. I will never use any other type again.

4 yr old loves it, can swim alittle and this gives her the confidence to jump on in the pool and swim to the side. One I ordered was for a large 9yr old and had to exchange it for a larger size. Return department was quick and very helpful in the exchange. Would recommend to anyone but remember it is not a life preserver just to help them gain confidence. Use with supervision.

Belt is larger than most, but initially seemed smaller than expected. However, once in water it fit great. Comes with video & booklet for water exercises. I use it for deep water aerobics and swimming with kickboard to take pressure off my back. works well seems durable.

I purchased the AquaJogger classic belt so I could continue running to get through an injury.
I have used it a handful of times and if you follow instructions you can get a fairly good work out. I am not back to running so I am not sure if it has helped keep up my level of fitness or not.
It is a nice alternative to doing laps.

The one complaint with this is that I have to tighten the belt as much as it will go so it doesn't ride up...and I am an average sized woman...a petite woman might have a hard time keeping this belt in place.
